Hey! I’m Rowena and I am an online writer.

I love to write about things that perk my interest and I want to share my words with all of you.

It doesn’t matter what topic it is as long as I am interested in it, then I’m going to write about it. Well, I need some of your opinions about my articles so feel free to register here and comment about what I write.

Aside from writing, I also have different hobbies that takes my time when I’m not at the front of my computer working. First, I love to cook especially home made Filipino dishes. I cannot say that I am really an expert in this area but I love to experiment. I love to make “pork sinigang” and pork adobo (well Filipinos are familiar with this dishes). I also love to create different dishes using vegetables. I’m not exactly a vegetarian, I usually combined veggies with meat.

Secondly, aside from my passion in cooking, I always end up with a novel in my hands. Either before going to sleep or during wee hours. I prefer detective and suspense novels because of the mystery that surrounded the plot. I’d like to guess whose the villain in the story beforehand but I’m not cheating (I won’t do that it destroys the mystery effect of the story). Authors like Dan Brown and Sydney Sheldon amazed me. They have this certain quality that they place in their novels that will make you stay awake for hours. They say that the Harry Potter Series is for children, well, I beg to disagree. I am fascinated with it! I am already 25 years old but JK Rowling had stir up something inside of me to really love the series about the young boy who lives. I am going to talk deeply about this novels on the other posts so I advise you to keep on reading.

Third, I am really inclined to listen to great music. May it be international or Filipino made music as long as it never quit to inspire me then its great music. I am not really into one category or another. I can love classical, jazz, country music, RnB, hip hop, pop, metal and rock songs depending on my mood. (Its in the mood category for some, right?)

Watching television shows and movies are also my weakness. I tend to flip the TV on when I do nothing and watch for hours either a television show or a DVD movie. I also went to movies at least once a month to watch the latest in the big screen. I am not really picky when it comes in this area because anything can be interesting as long as they can catch your attention.

Hmm.. I don’t know if I miss something but that’s all for now. Maybe I can list up other things that I enjoy on the next post or any other upcoming post coming from me. I also intend to share some part of my personal life in this blog. So readers, I advise you to hold on and bear with me.. Ciao!
