Are you waiting for another Abba reunion concert? Well, don’t get so excited cause you are in for a great disappointment. Though the group reunited on the red carpet for the Swedish premiere of the Mamma Mia! movie, one founding member of the iconic ’70s group stated the fact that the band’s performing days are over – forever.

“We will never appear on stage again,” Björn Ulvaeus Andersson, 63, said in an interview with the U.K.’s Sunday Telegraph. “There is simply no motivation to regroup. Money is not a factor and we would like people to remember us as we were. Young, exuberant, full of energy and ambition.”

Sounds like fans will have to make do with the new film, which stars Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth and features 22 of the band’s signature songs.

“Meryl Streep is a goddess,” Ulvaeus says. “To hear her delivering the songs with all the emotion we put in the lyrics is more than we could have dreamed of.”

Camp Rock, their Disney Channel movie which featured several musical performances by the teen band, snagged 8.9 million viewers Friday night, making it the most-watched cable program this year.

The movie is a Cinderella-like tale where Kevin, 20, Joe, 18 and Nick, 15, star as teen pop stars sent to a prestigious rock camp. Actress/singer Demi Lovato, 15, co-stars as the poor-girl-with-a-booming-voice whom Joe flips over.

As big a smash as Camp Rock was, it didn’t come close to last summer’s juggernaut High School Musical 2, which debuted with 17.2 million viewers in August.

But the brothers don’t have time to worry about that. They kick off their summer tour July 4 in Toronto and are developing a Disney TV series in which they’ll play spies.

Radiohead had a change of heart due to the ongoing demand of customers for their unbundled digital songs for iTunes. With this they have decided to provide ITunes customers their music from EMI label days.

“There has been massive demand for Radiohead’s music on iTunes,” EMI communications SVP Jeanne Meyer told Listening Post. “Once In Rainbows was unbundled, it was a natural progression to unbundle (the rest of) their catalog” so that it would be available there.

Radiohead had previously allowed EMI to sell its albums digitally on music services only in album form. Apple refuses to do this, so Radiohead declined to sell its music on iTunes — by far the largest of the digital music stores. However, the band’s approach changed with In Rainbows, which the band released for unbundled sale on iTunes following its pricing-optional debut.

Radiohead’s back catalog of EMI albums, its videos and its new Greatest Hits album are all available in the iTunes Plus store, in the DRM-free AAC format.

Cook outvote Archuleta by 12 million votes, a landslide triumph on his part. Cook was absolutely shock when host Ryan Seacrest announced that he won, maybe because he expected to lose due to the judges comments on him on Tuesday night, the American Idol Finale night. Simon Cowell praised Archuleta and announced that he won by knock out on the finale night. However, America have spoken and voted David Cook to be their American Idol.

This time it is Ramiele Malubay, a Filipina who had grown up in the States. The judges said that her performance this week was very forgettable and the song was again another wrong choice for her. Well, this week is Dolly Parton week, where the Idol contestants have been coached by singer Dolly Parton to sing her songs. Ramiele sung “Do I Ever Cross Your Mind” who garnered the lowest votes from America this week.

Ramiele was joined by Kristy Lee Cook and Brooke White in the bottom three. The eight remaining Idol hopefuls include: Jason Castro, 20; early fan favorite David Archuleta, 17; emerging “Idol” star David Cook, 25; Michael Johns, 29; Syesha Mercado, 21, and Carly Smithson, 24.

Who’s the best cover?

Chris Cornell covered Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” into a rock version in his album Chris Cornell: Unplugged in Sweden last 2007. While David Cook of American Idol 7 covered the covered song on the American Idol challenge last week. Lots of the two artists fans are arguing who did best? Chris or David?

Well, let’s not forget to give credit to Michael Jackson who have done the original pop version of the song and had come up with the original lyrics, arrangement and flipping. He truly deserves the credit.

But for the rock version, I admire Chris Cornell for his very creative arrangement and original idea to change MJ’s song. He made it very soulful and very astonishing. Well, actually in my opinion David Cook cannot do his cover song without the original cover made by Chris right?

David Cook sang the song well and his got good points from Idol for that. But its wrong for the judges part to partly forget that it isn’t Cook’s version but from singer Cornell who had done the original rock arrangement of the song.

So for me, in the case of the rock version of Billie Jean.. Chris Cornell must take full credit.
